Chorus Lyrics of “Synchronicity”?

June 26, 2011 Leave a comment

A question about this song which arises often is, “What are the chorus lyrics?” I’ve always assumed that the chorus lyrics were in English (and not Kajiuran/Kajiurago). I spent weeks and weeks listening to “Synchronicity” and extensively conducting research. I spent my time reading forum posts and YouTube comments, testing out the lyrics that people suggested. These are the lyrics I believe are most correct, based on how well they fit in with the meaning of the song & what I hear myself. A few lines are obviously wrong, but I’d like to think that those are the right lyrics, and the guess that sounds more accurate doesn’t fit in with the song (“waiting in the silence” vs. “waiting in the sun”…) Do you hear differently? Leave a comment!

Kurogane’s scar and Fay’s language

How could I have not noticed this?

http://xxtakusenxx.livejournal.com/168574.html

Kurogane’s scar. It’s so meaningful, yet Bee Train didn’t realize it was there! Kurogane’s scar was actually mentioned by Syaoran in the manga once, and I recall reading it, but I registered it as ‘unimportant’ in my mind. Read all the comments from that LiveJournal post, as well. Even after obsessing over every single detail of Tsubasa, I have missed possibly one of the most important things about Kurogane.

Another interesting thing I found on the GaiaOnline profile of Fay’s #1 fangirl:

I’m probably one of the only people that knows that “Vi la princia,” the line Fai said to Sakura before they left Tokyo as he kissed the back of her hand, is Esperanto.

Something I found on Wikipedia about the language:

Tsubasa -RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE-, often shortened for the sake of convenience to “Tsubasa“, is one of the newest additions to a large body of work by world-renowned manga studio CLAMP.
